I began my insurance career with Austin & Austin Insurance Services Inc. (now a division of Brown & Brown Insurance Services, Inc.) in 2003 as a licensed producer for personal lines. Austin & Austin’s niche is providing insurance for real estate offices. After a year or so I was assigned the task of cross-selling and prospecting workers compensation insurance. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed working with real estate offices. Soon after I had the opportunity of also promoting new business for errors & omissions insurance. The more I learned the intricacies of the policies and the world of residential real estate the more successful I was and the more business I was bringing into the office. After a few years of bringing in new business and taking on accounts for renewals I progressed into working with some of our offices’ largest clients and developing and working with various referral sources including some of the top real estate attorneys in California.
Currently, I have a select number of real estate offices who are my personal clients, work with our referral sources for large account new business and provide support for our team with the knowledge I have gained over the years of working with real estate offices for their insurance needs.
I have a passion for being the best I can for my office, fellow Brown & Brown Team Members and always have the best interests of my clients in the forefront.
I live in Livermore, California with my wife and two kids. As a family we enjoy cooking together, camping, visiting state and national parks, serving others, and seeking out unique life experiences to build lifelong memories. In my personal time, you can find me BBQ’ing, at a farmers’ market or other local events, or at a classic car show.
