An Errors & Omissions Insurance Recommendation
From Austin & Austin Insurance Services, Inc.

 

As part of your renewal process and as a practice in general, we recommend distributing the following to all of your agents and personnel whose activities are included in your errors & omissions policy.  Please have them sign, date and return to you at each policy renewal:

    I, (email) understand and accept the responsibility of communicating to (person(s) in your office to report to) any correspondence I receive from someone where they have made an accusation of negligence, non-disclosure, or any other wrongdoings or shortcomings on my part with respect to my professional services which are considered to be related to (Your business name, name of insured(s) on policy).

    Communication to (person(s) in your office to report to) will be made within twenty-four hours or sooner if possible upon my receipt of such correspondence.

     


     

    Also, it is a good practice to be sure that all such notices are communicated to your insurer prior to your current policy expiration date.
